My cousin homeschools his kids and politically is more in the center, slight right on many things, slight left on a few things but he thinks the public education system is full of BS and he hates Critical Race Theory and "Wokeness" with a passion. We were talking and we were talking about "White Privilege" and he made the point where if "we have it, why are we struggling?" I quipped back, "Agreed, I often ask if there is White Privilege, where is my company car? Where is my membership jacket? Where is my keys to the executive bathroom?" WE both laughed.

BTW, I hate that term CRT. I'm an electronics hobbyist and amateur radio operator, to me, CRT means "cathode ray tube," which I still watch everyday on my 1982 Zenith since we bought it new.

i still went to schools that had teachers who sincerely cared about what parents wanted, and i remember them meeting my parents on conferences and having real discussions

they were not pushing politics

they pushed studying real subjects
