Throughout much of 2021, conservatives, in both classrooms and in the halls of state legislatures, have been fighting back against the pervasive influence of critical race theory in public schools.
Laws banning the instruction of CRT tenets in public schools have passed in more than 20 states, and there is reason t0 hope that the tide is beginning to turn in the fight for the country’s history and principles.
Unfortunately, the Zinn Education Project refuses to accept defeat, and desires to teach American children that this country was founded upon the “dispossession of Native Americans, slavery, structural racism and oppression,” as opposed to the principles of liberty enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
The organization is named for Howard Zinn, a socialist activist and “historian” who wrote “A People’s History of the United States,” a left-wing propaganda pamphlet disguised as a textbook that has made its way into history classes all across the country.

So far, according to the Zinn Education Project, the pledge has been signed by more than 5,000 educators in all 50 states, and many of the signees were more than happy to provide their reasons for signing. Needless to say, some of them were quite shocking.
“How can we teach future generations to disrupt systems if we are not willing to speak the truth about the systems?” one wrote.

They sure are making an all-out push for communism. I wonder what the parents will think?
I wonder if those who signed this piece of garbage were under 30 years of age, and I wonder where they attended university.
The time has come for separation of school and state.
How can we see the names on the list? and where they’re from?
Communists won’t give up their dreams and ideals about brainwashing. It’s demanded by them if they are to get total control of the people, and the people they are targeting will eventually grow up to be the adults. Indoctrinate them young, just like the teachers and liberal media have been.
then they should lose their jobs.
Yes, names someplace please.
Most of the parents are oblivious clods. Not be sound racist, but most public school parents, at least an inordinent number of them, are Hispanic non-citizens, and are just happy to get rid of their kids for 7 hours a day.
I've checked the demographic makeup of my large city ISD, and it is over 60% Hispanic. The rest are black or Asian, with maybe 15% white.
Tell these teachers to surrender their homes to the nearest Native American tribe and then pay them back rent.
This generation of teachers is largely female with a virtue signaling herd mentality.
Get your kids out of there.
I took my children out of public schools for far less than this.
There will be an increase in private schools and home schooling.... I look for the feds to make home schooling illegal
Get that pledge sheet - then fire them all from teaching or holding positions in education ever again.
They are active threats to our children.
Parents, there are sites on the Net for learning or reviewing English, algebra, American history and civics (how American government works). Get after it, so you can teach your children. I did it. It’s not hard.
(Not condoning CRT). Why not create VOLUNTARY classes, with signed parental permission agreements. So if a family wants their child to participate it is available but would have to sign a waiver. The kids who don’t get parental permission, they could have a study hall or gym.
They would NEVER go for this, of course, because they want to influence the kids whose parents are against it, therefore making it mandatory curriculum.
Parents need to organize, pull their kids out of these schools, boycott, protest and in the meantime think of new ways to educate their kids whether it be home schooling or families chipping in for tutors and claiming a tax exemption. This is protecting children from abuse
Parents need to sue, get the ambulance chasers suing for child abuse
