Dozens of children and adults have tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a Texas church camp. Three tested positive for the highly contagious delta variant.

More than 90 others, including some from outside the county, have reported positive test results to Galveston County health officials, he said.

More than 450 adults and grade-six-to-12 youths attended the camp organized near Giddings, Texas

Testing positive is now front page news? Nobody dead, nobody in the hospital, just a positive test.

Fear is now selling like hotcakes.

Today my piano tuner called Covid “the election virus”. It made me LOL. So true.

I’m glad nobody is seriously ill.

I love this “highly contagious delta variant” crap. The common cold is highly contagious. It won’t kill you, and many people may not even realize they have it, but it IS highly contagious.

If they are still using the same test, this means nothing

How many are actually sick? As far as I can tell from the article the answer is ZERO.

"because the overwhelming vast majority of “cases” result in neither hospitalizations or deaths"

Or even symptoms.

People forget that you can’t even trust the tests. You could flip a coin and get better results.

Don’t care about cases; hospitalizations and deaths are only numbers that matter, because the overwhelming vast majority of “cases” result in neither hospitalizations or deaths.

Exactly.

For the majority, nothing more than a mild cold or flu.

OoooOOoooohhhhh.......cases......b👀gieman 😱

Big deal. In these scare stories they never mention just how sick they were. In fact they go out of the way to mention nothing but they tested positive

1 in 8 tested positive... so far.

57 in Galveston County + 90 more from other counties.

Round that number up to 150 and you have 1 in 3 church camp attendees tested positive.

I have 2 friends who were hospitalized. Both very sick with it. One got it in November, and still can’t breath normally. She was 59. Maybe a little overweight.

The other one was around 70, and healthy and very in shape.

are they still using bogus testing?.....Stanford and others are suing because out of 1500 positives sent their way, they could find NO real cases at all.

Almost 150’ tested positive. That is 1:3 not 1:8 as stated elsewhere. 6 were fully vaxxed.

6/150 = 4%

The efficacy of the vaccines in clinical trials was said to be 95%. Therefore given this cohort, it appears that the vaccines performed better than expected by 20%. (7.5 cases would have been 95% effective).
