Would love to see him win, but I need to see the legal arguments.

To use any of these sites you need to agree to their terms and services. That functions as a contract. All of them demand the right to do whatever they want, and for you to surrender the right to sue them.

Trump has good lawyers, and they may have found a loophole, but big tech can afford the best lawyers in the world.

One of the biggies is that he is a Public Figure. If they shut down one....then they must shut down all. We’ll see.

This lawsuit goes outside the box by showing a partnered effort by the Rats with totalitarian Big Tech.

It’s a very good play.

“big tech can afford the best lawyers in the world”

Lawyers are for the peons. Big Tech can afford Judges, and Branches of the gov’t. Why leave anything to chance?

“..To use any of these sites you need to agree to their terms and services. ..” the problem becomes when they toos people out because of their opinion it brings them into a new category. Akin to a Baker saying they wont bake a cake for a gay wedding.

This may be the opening move of a larger play. I don’t see Trump pinning all his hopes on just one strategy, especially one that depends on lawyers and judges.

Contracts have to abide by the laws, such as Section 230, anti trust laws, campaign finance laws and the Constitution.

I think the legal argument is you can’t be both a public forum and enjoy those protections and a publisher when you decide to change your cloak and enjoy those protections.

Pick one.

Good point.
