Flight Logs/Plans Reveal A Lot Of Activity

This is boring flight data explained and there's a reveal shortly after the 30 minute mark that made ME say, "Wait, what?" and go back to listen with different ears.

It begins with a warning not to duplicate, but says nothing about sharing.

He's a guy that follows flight data

He records it and posts it

He shows airplanes involved, to and from, dep/arr times, and THIS clip indicates a LOT of border activity between border locations.

We tend to focus on what is easily readable, but rely on experts to break down things like legal data, governmentese and etc.

I'm old, retired and have the time to at least LISTEN without being paranoid about who I'm listening to, or on what site I visit TO listen.

But don't worry .... slojoe has everything under control.

He does online briefings several times a week of military flight operations.

He uses several apps that identify aircraft by type, located on a map. The aircraft icons are moving and are different colors based upon their altitude. They are also identified by type.

One shortcoming of the briefings is a huge number of military aircraft (fighters in particular) are not visible because their aircraft types/speeds/locations/altitudes are not allowed to be displayed for obvious national security reasons.

I was turned on to Flight Radar 24 by a friend a couple of years ago, and immediately bought the Gold Package!

If you are an aviation enthusiast and always have your eyes to the skies, I highly recommend it!

One of my most relaxing pastimes is to lay in my hammock under the grape vines in my back yard (which is right in the approach paths of two airports) and watch the traffic...

The fact that my wife has nearly turned our backyard into the Garden of Eden for me is icing on the cake...:)

This channel looks at planes registered to the US DOJ and other agencies and tracks where they go. By itself, not much interest. Then he tracks where they go, and are coming from, and the frequency of travel. He usually starts with the Guantanamo Bay flights ("the spa"), and moves all over to various things of interest. 1. Several flights of young men transported from El Paso to Brownsville. Dude calls them "reprocessing" flights. 2. At the 32:00' mark, shows a flight from a processing center in Alexandria LA to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The flight is still in the air at 11:44 his time. Last night, the Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in his home. Coincidence? Anyway, back to more conspiracy theory-ing.
