Requiring training, and permits themselves, are an unconstitutional infringement. Training is of course a good idea, but not government’s business to require. Government does not exist to keep you from doing something stupid.
Well that’s simply not what “well regulated” meant at the time of the founding. “Put in good order” requires more than just maintenance of the firearm. You mind and body must also be “in good order.”
Considering the “complexion” of the events in the news over the last two years, I am quite certain there is a growing number of white folks who are getting reacquainted with those two pejoratives.
That’s exactly what the leftards want. They talk about “white fragility” and the “inherent racism” of being white, because they want a big backlash, to justify all their outrageous behavior and policies to date, and to get a new lease on more power grabs, mass arrests, and violent suppression of opposition. I don’t know what that guy’s beef was, but he was playing right into The Man’s hands, supporting the narrative.
Black guy first pushed him. Fwiw. It’s unclear who initiated hostilities, because the antecedents of the fight did not take place on camera.
He was pushed first. The black guy initiated physical contact. But even so, let’s hear the black guy’s side, too. Yahoo!’s version is too simplistic.
The white guy moved very close to the black guy. Anyone would’ve pushed him away when he did that.
With that said, the people who showed up later to smash the guy’s windows and throw bottles should’ve been arrested and charged, too.
Other news outlets have been covering this story since yesterday. Allegedly other videos of this guy doing other things. But, let’s wait and see if those stories are true.
This happened in a nice suburb, by the way. Most neighborhood disputes never get all this attention.
Before he crowded the black guy and pushed with his chest, the black guy pushed him with his hands. Then he walked close to him and dared him to push him again, and then he was crowding him and pushing with his chest, and the black guy put his hands in the air and tried to deescalate. Watch the video from the beginning, and you’ll see.
One of the participants is black, and the other is a large-mouthed knucklehead, possibly they both are (not that the MSM will admit that). Therefore, this is national news. Infotainment at its lowest. Next they’ll be covering the exciting world of pit bull fights.
The video begins with the white man already standing too close to the black man. Remember, that is the black man’s front door.
Then (watch his feet) the white man takes a step even closer toward the black man, who instinctively pushes him back and takes a step back himself.
I’m only using the terms “white” and “black” to describe them in a quick way. We could say “man in the green shirt” and “man in the white shirt.” All that matters is, one guy went to the other guy’s front door, argued with him, got up real close to him, and called him names.
There appears to be a back story. Then again, other neighbors claim this guy harasses everyone. But, let’s wait and see which back stories are true. As is, for now, we can only judge what we see in that video.

The white man went to the door of a couple to argue with the husband. The wife called the police. That's when this other black man started arguing to defend the couple.

After reviewing the video more carefully and listening to the hostile exchange, you are right that he was already standing too close. Then black man pushed him, and white man dared black man to put hands on him again, and said that black man had already put hands on him twice (the first time not on camera), and said he would press charges. From what little I gather re context, black man was defending one of the two fellows behind him, and told white man that he was always harassing people. Black man speaks with Caribbean lilt. White man seems to be habitually contentious fellow.
Good observation. I missed the part where the white guy says, “That’s twice.” Maybe the first time was off-camera, but then, maybe the white guy pulled the same stunt the first time - stepping up real close to the guy.
Note: In another article, the black man is quoted as saying he’s from Cameroon in Africa.

Weird story. But, lots of people have crazy neighbors who harass them, and they can never get the police to help them. This guy is that type of neighbor. He is completely out of control.
With that said, the people who threw bottles - breaking windows and hitting police officers with bottles - also should’ve been arrested and charged.
Well, any putative sympathy I might have had for him is now dead and buried. I thought he was just a jerk. Looks like he’s bordering on sociopath. Racism would come with that package.
Yeah, some people out there are wrongfully accused.
But, this guy isn’t one of them. lol
They are going to be working for months to sort out everything that he can be accused of just to start GJ proceedings. But the biggest thing he’s guilty of is being a career azzhoe.
