Rising actor and model Daniel Mickelson died on July 4 at 23 years old, sparking an outpouring of emotional tributes from young Hollywood.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed for the Atlanta native, but his passing was announced on Instagram Monday night by his younger sister, fashion model Meredith Mickelson.
“My heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and i don’t even know what to say,” wrote the bereaved sibling. “Yesterday i lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart.”
Meredith, 22, added, “He was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist and I’m so happy God chose me to be his sister for his whole amazing life.” An accompanying pic showed the two together as kids.

Models? My children she be plastered all over the globe if these two are models.
Yep, that or vaccine or covid
The collagen industry apparently has lost an important client.
IBTVPs give you heck.
And this is news, why?
Never mind. Of late, any and all kinds of tripe make it into "news."
“Meredith, 22, added, “He was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist....”
2. That said (and meant), that quote above shows that Meredith has less brains than a gerbil. Perhaps she should use some of the money she makes modeling to hire a tutor (or 6).
I attribute it to her grief..................
Hey now, people like ducks
I don’t care who they are, the death of a young person is a tragedy. A lost soul gone into eternity. Very sad.
Sad, RIP.
He has his sister’s lips.
Not a good look in a guy.
You two had way more compassion at a young age than I did. In high school we had one star athlete die suddenly of an aneurysm. We had three members of the football team burn to death because they were either too drunk or too stoned to get the hell out of a cabin that was on fire. We had one quiet kid hang himself.
Now granted they were classmates of mine in a large school rather than friends of mine but all the same I was pretty unmoved by it all. I think I may have been born a stoic.

“young people view that death as a window into their own mortality which is something that unless they are in war or have been sick they usually are blissfully lacking self awareness of”
At age 10 I developed a rare kidney disease. By the time the docs realized what it was they told my family that I would most likely die within a day or two. They obviously missed that bet and I’m written up in a medical journal somewhere. I still have a vivid memory of an hallucinatory dream that I experienced the first days in the hospital, that otherwise I don’t remember at all. It’s pretty much one of those dreams where you are kicked out of the afterlife because you’re told it’s not your time to go. Anyway maybe that’s a reason for my curious indifference. Suffering and sorrow moves me, but death not so much.
As Mark Twain once said, “Everybody wants to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to die!”...................
