Yes they are! I grew up in S. Florida in Pompano Beach. We didn’t move back to TN until I started high school. We lived in Florida because of my asthma. Anyway, mountains are in my DNA I guess. I never saw snow until I was 14. I love the beach but I love the mountains more. I’ll never to back to Florida.
I grew up on flat land but have lived in or near mountains since 1973. I love the majesty of them and how they never look the same twice, thanks to sun, clouds, shadows, etc. Stunning!
