I grew up on flat land but have lived in or near mountains since 1973. I love the majesty of them and how they never look the same twice, thanks to sun, clouds, shadows, etc. Stunning!

Have you ever had the opportunity to visit the Smokies? They are practically in my back yard. :-) They have a weird blue/green haze over them that looks like smoke. These are taken from my front yard. They look similar to this but bigger.
