America’s Largest Teachers’ Union Approves Pro-Critical Race Theory Agenda For Every State, 14,000 School Districts
The largest teachers’ union in the United States, the National Education Association, has approved of a plan to promote Critical Race Theory to all fifty states throughout 14,000 local school districts.
The decision was made at the 2021 NEA Annual Meeting, where a number of significant issues were discussed, including a vote on mandatory COVID vaccinations, masks, and testing for students.
As detailed by the now-approved proposal, teachers will be required to learn more about CRT and fight back against anti-CRT efforts, including efforts to dispute the widely debunked New York Times’ 1619 Project, an alternate retelling of American history that claims the Founding Fathers declared independence to protect slavery.
They will also be required to provide an in-depth curriculum that “critiques empire, white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, anthropocentricism” and a host of other oppressive forces.

And that makes a case for outlawing public unions.
Unlike many people here, I'm not completely down on teachers (however administrators are particularly loathsome creatures). Many of them are swimming upstream, and got into the profession with noble intentions. The chief problem is that public schools stand in loco parentis and that basically stacks the odds in favor of the house. Parents - wittingly or not - have handed their kids over to the state during school. The state - wittingly - runs with that power.
The state goes with the flow...society was ok with corporal punishment years ago, but not now (frankly I'd have throttled anyone who touched a little DoodleBob). Society is ok with a bunch of stuff now, and that gets approved by the administrators. The teachers have to navigate through sex ed, CRT, and (to be fair) parents more interested in dual incomes vs Johnny's grasp of algebra.
The beneficiaries of this Three-card Monty are the NEA, Zen-fascist teachers, administrators, and the handful of parents and kids who thrive in this property tax-funded environment. The rest of us - including frustrated teachers - are losers.
I've had the debate that all we need to do is reform schools, make teachers accountable, take back the PTA blah blah blah. The reality is, as long as there is demand/kids who "we gotta educate or else," the taxes will stay and we are stuck.
A parent's best option is to simply abandon ship, and homeschool. Your child is too important to make them a pawn in this rigged game.
Public schools are the root of ALL evil.
1 year was all they got from me. Then they sent me their yearly policy document from the 1991 convention. I read it and never again was a part of them. I just wanted the legal liability insurance.
Unions were a communist invention. And, they had their place in protecting workers from dangerous situations. But that protection has been institutionalized. No longer necessary for the workers, they have morphed into communist political organizations.
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 obligates schools to address conduct that is:
• Severe, pervasive, or persistent.
• Creates a hostile environment at school. That is, it is sufficiently serious that it interferes with or limits a student’s ability to participate in or benefit from the services, activities, or opportunities offered by a school.
• Based on a student’s race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or religion (covered under Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964).
Anyone can report harassing behavior to a school. When a school receives a complaint, administration must take immediate and appropriate action to investigate or otherwise determine what happened, including:
• Conduct a prompt, thorough, and impartial inquiry
• Interview targeted students, offending students, and witnesses; maintain written documentation of the investigation
• Take steps reasonably calculated to end harassment, if investigation shows it has occurred, including eliminating any aspects of a hostile environment, preventing harassment from recurring, and preventing retaliation against the targeted student(s) or complainant(s)
• Communicate with targeted students and/or complainants regarding steps taken to end harassment
• Check in with targeted students to ensure that harassment has ceased
Protecting each student’s right to a safe learning environment requires everyone—educators, students, and parents—to respect each other’s differences and work together to stop harassment.
There is no longer any doubt. America’s government schools have to be torn out root and branch. They are run by racist, America-hating trash. My white grandsons will be taught to hate themselves, not for anything they have done, but for something they have no control over - their race.
There is no “reform” option left. Government schools have to be destroyed and abandoned.
