Psychoanalysis in the Age of Apology
American Thinker ^ | 3 Jul, 2021 | Stephen Rittenberg, M.D.

The age of apology has now extended beyond the political world to the psychotherapeutic consulting room. The American Psychoanalytic Association has offered a heartfelt mea culpa for trauma caused to "LGBTQI" patients.

Ever since it emerged from the Viennese consulting rooms of Sigmund Freud, political utopians have used psychoanalysis to diagnose and cure social ills. From early Freudo-Marxists like Alfred Adler and Wilhelm Reich to Herbert Marcuse and Paul Goodman in the '60s, they argued that neurosis would disappear once the repressive chains of capitalism were broken. Unlike Freud, who viewed human beings as the authors of their own psychological misery, the Freudo-Marxists viewed happiness as the natural human condition, corrupted by external institutions like religion and capitalism. It is therefore the duty of psychoanalysts to align themselves with their patients' struggles against those patriarchal institutions. Despite their efforts, utopia never arrived, and so, like other revolutionaries, they turned on one another, demanding confessions and apology. In the Soviet Union, those who did not share the utopian faith were themselves "analyzed," given psychiatric diagnoses, and locked up in mental hospitals. So far in this country, dissidents have not been hospitalized. Instead, they must confess to having been misguided and been the cause of the very pain they supposedly sought to cure. If they don't, they risk expulsion from the "woke" community of analysts.

Utopian yearnings never die, but since they can never be realized, scapegoats must be found. Today the utopian revolution is fueled by postmodern ideas, a dramatic example of which is the attempt to alter reality by changing language. Thus is biological sex severed from biology, and drastic change can occur simply by change of clothing, surgical mutilation, and mere assertion that one is "male" or "female" or anything in between, regardless of biological reality.

At the core is mathematics.
Physics is applied mathematics.
Chemistry is applied physics.
Biology is applied chemistry.
Psychiatry is practiced by witch doctors.

Paraphrasing Richard Feynman.

this author is an MD, judging from the byline. Very courageous to risk his career for writing stuff like this.

1- Psychoanalysis has never cured anyone.

2- #1 is all you need to know. It is a money making scam.

Psychoanalysis is a form of depth psychology which seeks to identify and resolve the perceptual programming events that programmed the unacceptable behavior.

My wife is an MD, psychiatrist trained in both Freudian and Jungian techniques. She’s retired after 30+ years in clinical and medical school faculty.

In my 3rd major career change, I got a degree in psychology and went on to study and perform neuroscience research relating to the interaction between consciousness and the physical body/brain for the last twenty years.

We are now jointly writing a book that will revolutionize the understanding of consciousness.

In 1988 I died of meningitis and returned to my physical body with a very unusual ability that caused me to change careers from a tax law professor to a quest to understand my new ability.

That ability is that the stored memories of experiences people had since conception became physical to my perception. These memories are stored in the soul surrounding the physical body in a very specific pattern, with conception and early childhood events being stored 12 to 15 feet from the physical body. The human soul, the energy that gives life to the physical body is about 30 feet in diameter.

Thus as I walk up to a person I am walking the timeline of their life events.

In about 5 minutes, I do what psychoanalysis tries to do, and often can’t due to its inability to retrieve early childhood events.

I have the person close their eyes, I say nothing, and do not touch the person in any way. When I touch the memories during pregnancy I can tell what the mother experienced, as a child in the womb cannot differentiate between their own experiences and their mother’s experiences.

When I touch these memories it usually knocks the person off their feet even though I an 15 feet away and not stimulating their physical senses.

Consciousness stimulation when I touch the stored memory in a person’s soul backfeeds through the amygdala and moves the physical body similar to a vestibular dysfunction.

In essence, this reads the stored memories back to conception similar to what x-rays do to bones. It’s pure science, not mysticism. Although it explains how the mystics did what they did.

It also explains and demonstrates why religions teach what they do.

The process is based upon action potential firing rates in the brain and frequencies of consciousness. When the soul is purified, the frequency can go way above 50 Hz into a range where a person can perceive directly with their consciousness beyond their physical body. This is the awakening Jesus taught us in the NT.

Side note... gender identity is totally a function of the dominant aspect of feminine or masculine consciousness, regardless if actual gender. Many factors influence this during soul or consciousness development. For example, about 95% of the many lesbians I have worked with over the years, the mother was angry at the father while pregnant with the daughter.

I’ve done thousands of these sessions, many to identify the root cause of idiopathic illness, including both physical and psychological.

There are many reasons why I did not go public with this until now, even though I have been doing it for over thirty years.

Our perception of reality is a function of the frequency of consciousness from which we view it. When we raise this frequency high enough by cleansing our souls, much of the non physical reality becomes physical to our perception.

Consciousness itself becomes physical and material.
