This is Alabama, folks...
I'm sorry folks but I have reached an epiphany of obvious consequence and I can't keep quiet right now. On May 23, 2021 (just over a month ago) a city-driving motorist tried to turn right (no signal, no look) onto a perpendicular street FROM THE LEFT LANE, right while I was passing causing me to swerve and slam thru a curb totaling my beautiful '18 Nissan Altima SR. That idiot driver saw what he did, stopped, and then drove off never to be found. Luckily three witnesses stopped and gave statements to the officer which absolved me on the spot.
Since then, my nerves have been hyper sensitive to pick up on inattentive and illegal maneuvers of other vehicles and let me tell you....its been darn near maddening! Cars/Trucks blowing through stop lights long after the light change, etc... Just today one person in front of me who was so short she could barely see over the steering wheel was all over the road. Some obviously mexican woman stopped in the lane to let traffic turn when she had a long, clear right of way. Some other obviously mexican 'chap' decided he was going to use the center turn lane as a 'speed lane' to get to his destination parking lot while I was in that turn lane flashing my headlights at the b@^#!&d and leaning on my horn. This is no joke. This is real and I know that I am not alone!

Central Valley, California……where we have been occupied for many years. Some days I feel like my car has a giant red target on it. I’ve driven in Mexico and what an experience. They drive the same way here.
I was constantly amazed at what people did around me while driving my motor home. I filmed both side mirrors using old cell phones.
Advice for the future. Don’t swerve into the curb that way the third worlder’s car will be as effed up as yours. 🤔
Rural AZ here. Got t-boned by some pre-teens on a "borrowed" motor scooter. Called the deputy, who arrived in about 20 minutes. In the meantime, I am surrounded by a bunch of Mexicans checking out the kids (not hurt) and the scene. One guy sidles up to me and says "If you pay me money, we won't tell the cops."
Astounded at his chutzpah, I just said that the cops are on the way. He disappeared. Wish I had enough sense to tell him "You pay ME money and I no tell La Migra." Alas, too slow on the draw.
The young Mexican guy who owned the motor scooter shows up just as the deputy arrives. Can't prove ownership ("I bought it from a guy") so it gets impounded. I felt sorry for him.
Insurance paid for everything, but it took me a while to get over the "You give me money" guy.
Well, my brother is in the bad side of town in a bad town. it’s where all of the bad things happen. I’m surprised he hasn’t been broken into. My parents live across the street. I hate going over there and only do it on rare occasions.
In the 60s Miami/Dade put”ALTO” just below”STOP”on all Stop signs. Some would not stop if sign had not been updated, w/ ALTO. Some believed first to blow horn, had the ROW!
Hi.
We (the First lady and me) saw the video/dashcam.
The lady didn’t know she was missing “something,” until she got pulled over by another citizen. The dashcam people probably saved the child’s life.

See my last.
Also, see the comments of most of the people here who actually do intelligently contribute to this discussion and who also consider it very pertinent to their daily lives in this country.
