A Fistful of Dollars is a 1964 Spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood in his first leading role. The film, an international co-production between Italy, West Germany, and Spain, was filmed on a low budget (reported to be $200,000), and Eastwood was paid $15,000 for his role.
Released in Italy in 1964 and then in the United States in 1967, it initiated the popularity of the Spaghetti Western genre. It was followed by For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, also starring Eastwood. Collectively, the films are known as the "Dollars Trilogy", or the "Man with No Name Trilogy" after the United Artists publicity campaign referred to Eastwood's character in all three films as the "Man with No Name". All three films were later released in sequence in the United States in 1967, catapulting Eastwood into stardom. The film has been identified as an unofficial remake of the Akira Kurosawa film Yojimbo (1961), which resulted in a successful lawsuit by Toho, Yojimbo's production company.

I was thinking of this scene yesterday or the day before. Hadn’t thought about it in quite some time.
Don’t know why it came to memory.
Four. My mistake.
He was standing up for his male’s hurt feelings. PETA should be proud.

“Clunk Eastwood stars as Big Bad Giuseppe in … ‘A Fistful of Ravioli’!”
Great picture! One of my favorites. The movie it’s a remake of is most excellent as well. Akira Kyrosawa’s “Yojimbo” with the great Toshiro Mifune is also one of my all time favorite films. Thanks for posting.

These classics were only enhanced by the cheesy, lousy lip-sync.

Horace Walpole's 'Rogue Cheddar', (sniff) one of the first of the Cheese Westerns to be later followed by 'Gunfight at Gruyère Corral', 'Ilchester 73', and 'The Cheese Who Shot Liberty Valence'.
I watched this movie as part of a $5 3-pack Clint Eastwood Walmart grab.
One of my favorites!
Gonna watch it again soon. Thanks.
He would play it on occasion with his door open.
When he did such, everyone scampered off to their rooms to turn the TV on.
Paul Hogan’s parody, Dirty Guisesepe is very funny too.
He asked for Sofia Loren.
I always carry Vic{s Cough Drops with me. Because Vic{s always stops the coffin.
This movie was a revelation, and the soundtrack is great too.
I love these spaghetti westerns watched them the other nite. A Fist Full of Dollars, A Few Dollars More and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.. Am Watching Once Upon A time In The West..
The reason for that was that many actors in those films were speaking in their native tongue...english...spanish..italian...so the english dubs were for different languages...so it looks very uneven..great movies if one “forgives” that flaw...
The plan for the movie from the start was to emulate the japanese film.....they were too faithful..
