The study of 2,000 adults revealed the hilarious things they'd do if aliens paid us a visit - including hiding under the bed, pretending to be out, or simply panicking. Other 'fool-proof' plans include calling mum and dad for advice, and putting the kettle on. Stocking up on loo roll, fleeing to the countryside, or relying on ‘the experts’ to sort it all out are also possible strategies.
But a quarter have a slightly more open-ended approach in mind – they intend to panic.
Commissioned by Beavertown ahead of World UFO Day on Friday July 2, the research found 63 percent would be welcoming if they saw an alien.
In fact, one in 20 claim to have already seen one, according to the OnePoll figures.
Nick Pope, former head of UFO investigation at the Ministry of Defence, said: "UFO sightings are rising, along with belief in an alien presence.

NICK POPE'S TIPS FOR AN ALIEN INVASION
1. As the saying goes, if you see something - say something.
While the government has a vast array of surveillance equipment that might spot alien invaders, the critical breakthrough might come from the public.
Over the time of its existence, the Ministry of Defence's UFO project received 12,000 reports of UFOs, and in some years investigated several hundred sightings.
2. Location location location!
When watching for UFO activity - which could be the advance guard of an alien invasion - forget the cliché about sightings happening on a lonely country road, late at night.
Ministry of Defence figures show that sightings are more likely to happen in cities.

Bingo! Its pointless asking them what they would we. We already know the answer.
I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but there do seem to be differing opinions to yours.
Physics of UAP/UFO, Alcubierre Warp Drives, & Spacetime Metric Engineering with Dr. Matthew Szydagis.Oral historian Kent Bye speaks with Matthew Szydagis who is an Associate Professor of Physics at the University at Albany. Szydagis was a speaker at the Scientific Coalition of UAP Studies Anomalous Aerospace Phenomena Conference talking about "What is the Possible Connection between UAPs and Dark Matter?" I wanted to talk to Szydagis to get his take on the feasibility of Alcubierre Warp Drives & Hal Puthoff's ideas about "spacetime metric engineering."
The opening keynote of SCU AAPC was Hal Puthoff, who spoke about "UAP Studies: Managing the Transition Intelligence Problem to Scientific Problem" where he elaborated on his theoretical physics expansion of Alcubierre Warp Drives. Puthoff's concept of "spacetime metric engineering" takes an engineering approach to Einstein's Theory of General Relativity, and provides a theoretical basis for some of the alleged observed anomalous behavior of UAP through the mechanism of warping of spacetime. Szydagis sees that there's a strong theoretical foundation, but still has a lot of questions about how it would pragmatically be implemented and sources of negative energy densities that would be required.

He’s not coming back until the year 3000 — I read the history book when I was a kid. He will return to stop an alien invasion from the tenth planet, orchestrated by Morgan le Fay.
All these UFO sightings have looked around and decided we’re not worth it.
At the core of theoretical physics is imagination. These postulates are currently not possible to prove experimentally. Almost all of this has been “debunked” by other physicists. Then again Einstein was mecilessly mocked by the established, tenured German physicists of his time. Yet who knows? If in the unlikely event that aliens were to show up here, only their intent would matter.
Maybe. Maybe not.;-)
Sounds like Americans’ plans for surviving the globalists, Deep State, and CCP!
Brits can’t do anything without a cuppa or a stiff deink. Surprised they didn’t plan on the latter.
So what’s your take on those things the Navy has been chasing around for the last 15 years or so?
Yet, they still sneer at the RKBA.
Yep.
As John Mack, the Harvard psychiatrist who worked with "alien" abductees said (I paraphrase), "I'm not sure what is going on. But something is...and it's not insanity, drugs, hallucinations, or sleep paralysis."
I'm not sure they are aliens, but something quite real is happening. Whether or not it comes from elsewhere is, as you say, irrelevant.
You do have a choice. You can believe that biological and manufactured entities are travelling the unimaginable distances of tens to hundreds of light years and are visiting earth ( but have left absolutely no documented physical evidence) or you can believe the laws of physics.

Our understanding of physics is far from complete. Distance may be irrelevant. That might sound flippant, but consider we are already running experiments demonstrating quantum entanglement confirming action-at-a-distance. The implication of this is there is an instantaneous connection between photons separated in our 3D space.
Earth has been broadcasting in analog for over 115 years and digitally for over 50. Given that there are billions of galaxies, statistically there is a good likelyhood that advanced alien civilizations exist. However they are too far away to physically visit us or us them. However they know much about earth and its atmosphere. Suppoose they transmitted signals that used earth’s atmosphere as a giant video screen. Well programmed messages couls “recreate” all sorts of rapidlymoving, suddenly disappearing images that pilots observe and are puzzled. Some of the programs may oranize the “screen” to form cloud like images that radar may actually record. anyway that is what I think is happening when “UFOs” are being observed. BTW there may be a whole string of alien civilizations linked by such radio communications and perhaps one day our computers may receive some very interesting and unusual communications to link us with other civilizations.
If aliens are visiting they are obviously trying to maintain plausible deniability. Otherwise why dart around with an occasional anal probe or cow kidnapping when they could simply introduce themselves.
Upwards of 100% of the good folks in South Texas will attest to the notion that an alien invasion has been underway since late January
Yep. Quantum physics also suggests that merely observing such an entity changes its nature. Lot not known or understood. However Einstein has yet to be proven wrong and no corollaries to his theories have been proven to be true.
