A woman facing prison for causing one of the worst crashes in the history of the Tour de France has been arrested after four days on the run.
The suspect – who has not been identified – was arrested today and is now in custody in the small Brittany town of Landerneau. She lives in the Finistere department of Brittany, in which Landerneau is situated, according to an investigating source.
‘She did not have far to travel to get to the race, and clearly knew how to escape after causing so much damage,’ he said.
‘Numerous witnesses were interviewed, and camera footage was also inspected in order to track the suspect down.
‘Now that she has been caught, she has to be questioned at length, to find out exactly what her motives were.’
Prosecutors launched a criminal inquiry following the collapse of an entire peloton on Saturday, when 21 cyclists including Britain’s Chris Froome were seriously hurt.

Wonder how many of the muslim invaders are looking at a sentence like that when they do wrong.
But, France is it’s own worst enemy. Recently, they could have voted for LaPen and they chose not to. Is she the answer to their problems, no one knows. But, puppet Macron and his puppet masters are surely making sure that country is circling the drain.
I wonder if their military leadership is as corrupted as ours.

People were seriously hurt and $100k+ in damaged bikes. What she did was assault.

He may have hit her arm as well. But seems to me he had enough time to steer around her. Wouldn't have needed to move out very much. Because she was standing out there near the curb for some time before he reached that point. Of course it depends on how close the other bikers around him were to him. Looked like there may have been enough space for him to have moved out that small amount, though. Doesn't look like he even tried.

Sorry, after looking at my own close-up above (post 27), I see that he had next to zero room to swerve.

Obviously a non intentional accident but she’s quite stupid and fleeing the scene makes it worse for her.
She was clearly the victim of an attractive nuisance. She should be compensated for any injuries she received.
That “peloton” was a bomb waiting to go off. Not her fault.
