For some reason the subject of cosmetology leapt to mind instead.

The vet tech for the local dog cardiology clinic is named Poe and she’s from Bawlmer.

She loved meeting Hrafn [ON for raven]

He got these ideas from the raven, who explained to him what he couldn’t understand in the volume of forgotten lore.

I will read this essay/poem. A lot of God haters seem to like this work. So I am curious. The God haters like to be intellectually fulfilled so I like to know more about the crutches they lean on.

Eureka also states that electromagnetic phenomena can never exceed the velocity of light, which creates a dichotomy in the universe: the gravitational effects of celestial bodies are observable, long before their light reaches us!
Thanks Red Badger. A nice multi-list ping topic.

In 1871 it was even officially forbidden in czarist Russia because of the revolutionary contents, although Poe’s other work was admired and influential there.

Russia had FacceBook and Twitter to control 'conspiracy theories' too? Small world.?

Thanks for posting...

The Bible might be Poe’s source for postulting a pulsating Universe which griws to a point then collapses only to manifest another iteration. Revelation does tell us that God is going to roll up the Universe like a scroll and make a new Heavens and New Earth.

The bible beginning is also like the current standard model for the beginning. gen 1:1 In the beginning God created heaven and earth.

Another words. Something came from nothing.

The current standard model is that all matter and energy existant today were were as nothing until 14.5 billion years ago—energy and matter exploded into being.

Another words. Something came from nothing.

Somebody as in “Somebody did something” is the more theological version of “Something came from nothing” for no reason that can be derived from current physics.

A logical, reasoning, thinking person would never look at a chair and wonder where did that chair come from? It didn’t just ‘appear’ out of nothing. Someone designed it, someone cut the trees, shaped the wooden pieces and then assembled the completed item. People would say you were crazy to believe that it ‘just appeared’ as it is.

Yet, those same people can look at the entire Universe and say that very thing that they would ridicule someone for saying about a chair..............

same goes for genetics.

Its a whole language. It didn’t just write itself.

What’s more even if space aliens seeded the earth—that only sets back the question by one iteration.

That is, even if space aliens seeded the earth—then the question is —where did their genetics come from.

The point here is that origins of both organic and inorganic chemistry have their origins in God.
