During the April 8 meeting of the Loudoun County School Board’s Equity Committee, a Loudoun County Public Schools teacher accused a local parents group of racism in response to that group’s continued allegations that LCPS is employing critical race theory in its employee training and student curriculum — something the school system has consistently denied.
The public comments from Andrea Weiskopf — who teaches Latin at River Bend Middle School in Sterling — are the latest chapter in an ongoing conflict in the LCPS community over the school system’s “Culturally Responsive Framework.”
“Over the past few weeks, a small group of Loudoun residents have put their racism on display for the nation,” Weiskopf said.
They have been emboldened by the meekness and the silence of those on the School Board and in the community who, just one year ago, marched boldly through the streets of Leesburg to protest the pervasive use of violence against Black and brown bodies,” she said.

It would be better for the children if the school closed altogether, and they all went elsewhere, than even bothering to put up with these idiots. The Parents Movement that is developing will increase until it drives this filth from our schools, or closes them forever. Home schooling is infinitely better than letting this pictured miscreant anywhere near elementary students.

The proper point of counterattack is the School District admin.
Start making those idiots and incompetents liable for the idiocy and incompetence in the school sites they manage and all the idiocy and incompetence comes to a halt.
Force it down the throats of the district admin. Make the district boss (an elected position in many places) wear the shame and blame for the shameful crap going on under their area of authority.
Remove and replace until you get yourselves a district admin that is free and clear of the idiocy and incompetence.
Going after individual teachers is a no-win because the teachers’ union will close ranks around them and you get nowhere.
Going after the individual school sites is a no-win because the individual school site admins have no real power over anything anymore.
Clearly the biggest issue facing us concerning education is, we are allowing the dumbest members of society to teach.

This woman either needs help or is beyond help. I feel sorry for her. But that doesn’t change the fact that she should be kept away from children.
