At least 11 people were killed and over 150 are missing in the aftermath of the collapse of the Surfside beachfront condo. Recent reports have revealed there were warning signs before the building fell as engineers reported several issues with the structure, but a local building official told board members that the building was in "very good shape." Despite the new intel, CNN asked Granholm what role a changing climate could have had on the destruction.
The secretary said she needed to wait to see the analysis of the current investigation into the building collapse, but said that we should "adapt" to and "protect ourselves" from the consequences of a changing climate. One possible solution, she suggested, was to pass President Biden's infrastructure bills.

Idiot.
For some time now we have seen that every natural disaster (i.e. weather, fires, floods, hurricanes) is blamed on climate change even though these events have occurred since the beginning of time.
However I knew it was only a matter of time before man-made events (such as building collapses) would also be blamed on climate change. Basically everything in the world now is due to global warming. I am wondering what the libtard greens will do when emissions are cut to zero and these events continue...
That’s what happened when the Egyptians enslaved the descendants of Jacob. There were 7 years of great harvests and 7 years of famine. Globull warming!
Heh, CNN “follows the science”.
Of Bill Nye, the Science Guy.
It's just another tool to be used to gain power over the individual.
Global warming. Please.. we all know it was Trump an DeSantis’ fault..
Yep, just another of their schemes to get you to voluntarily give up your freedoms, one little bit at a time.
Climate change caused the mail in ballots not to fold.
Back in 2013, "fake news" anchor Deb Feyerick asked Bill Nye if global warming had anything to do with an asteroid passing so close to Earth. Not even the creative geniuses at The Babylon Bee could come up with a premise so ridiculous.
It was a male building that had a hard time transitioning to female because of hateful discrimination.
Global warming!!!!…these people running this country are INSANE…I’m glad all the other high rises on Collins Ave are in a different climate…

Translated…. The building has some problems, they said they’d take care of them and here is the cash filled envelope they gave me, minus my cut
So much better for you, if enslave yourself voluntarily than if you make us come back there and do it to you./sarc
Global warming caused the inspectors to ignore the lack of maintenance and repairs to the building.
The board president was pressing forward with raising money for repairs. She understood the real situation, but the residents didn’t want to put up the $16 million that was needed.
Cover-up. The climate change explanation is a red herring.
The Biden administration is covering up for the Russians. Everyone knows the Russians did it, aided by the white supremacists who want to cause trouble.
Well, I hope they have documentation to identify those that were objecting to the repairs. Monday Morning QB’ing? Maybe.
But $16,000,000 in repairs and upkeep doesn’t happen overnight.
Shame.

CNN’s Don Lemon has been entertaining all sorts of theories about the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, including the chance something “supernatural” happened, but on Wednesday night, he actually asked panelists about the possibility a black hole was involved.
Lemon brought this up along with other “conspiracy theories” people have been floating on Twitter, including people noting the eerie parallels to Lost and The Twilight Zone, and wondered, “is it preposterous” to consider a black hole as a possibility? ...”

“When CNN anchor Don Lemon Twitter-sourced questions about the missing Malaysian Airlines plane again on Wednesday night [Mar 19, 2014] he went another step beyond Sunday’s “supernatural” event theory: he and his panel discussed the possibility of a “black hole” swallowing the jetliner.
He read out tweets that compared the mystery to “Lost” and “The Twilight Zone” before asking Mary Schiavo, a former U.S. Department of Transportation inspector general, to weigh in on the black hole theory.
“That’s what people are saying,” Lemon said. “I know it’s preposterous — but is it preposterous you think, Mary?”
“Well, it is. A small black hole would suck in our entire universe so we know it’s not that,” Schiavo said.

As a guy who is involved in this sort of thing, I know the drill. The residents will ask if all the repairs are really absolutely necessary, can it be phased in over several years, should we get quotes from more contractors, etc, etc. Eventually there will be a vote of all residents, the proposal will win 65-35, and then you have to give them several months to raise the money, usually by taking out a loan against their apartments. Nothing is ever easy.
What a damn stupid and opportunistic line of questioning! They might not all be dead yet!
