The world is full of bacteria and viruses. You never know what you might catch. If I get a cold, or the flu, or COVID (I already caught that one), then I shrug and I say “stuff happens”.
But to volunteer for an unapproved, experimental medicine that doesn’t work and which I don’t need because the virus is 99.5% survivable? If I volunteer for that and then I get severe side effects or death? I would feel like such a schmuck.
And even worse if I’ve sold my kid on the idea. The virus is no threat to kids. And now this one is in a wheelchair.

Since children are at neglible risk from COVID, this is just an example of the change of values we have undergone.
No longer do we sacrifice ourselves for our children.
We now happily, eagerly and forcibly sacrifice our children, so the adults may avoid a risk.

I found the answer to my question.
So it would seem that if one 12 year old suffered major problems in January 2021 vax trial, the CDC would have put an immediate halt to vaxxing any kids.
But the CDC did NOTHING!!!!!
