CHICAGO -- Six people were killed and 68 others were wounded in weekend shootings in Chicago as the city reaches the halfway point of what could be one of its most violent years in decades.
Four of the attacks were mass shootings with four or more people wounded. The attacks accounted for about a third of all the shooting victims between Friday evening and early Monday morning.

It is amazing black people don’t see how the media is lying to them. If these were white people, it would be national news. Because the victims are black, the media narrative is nobody cares. It is a false narrative but one the media gets away with.
Of course, guns, trump, systemic racism are the main culprits as to why so many black people shot so many black people in Chicago this weekend....sarc

Roughly 85% of all victims in Chicago murders in 2019 had criminal records. Victims!

Skimming thru, it seems most of the shootings took place between midnight and 4 AM. On the streets.

The reason nobody cares and also, no one talks about, is that the “victims” for the most part, are criminals. It’s criminals gang fighting other criminals. Now, a lot of people shot are not criminals, but they hang with or around criminals. I’ll include in that category people who live on the same street or the same building as criminals, but are not themselves criminals. That’s because they continue to live there. If you don’t want to be shot, move someplace safe. Often times, though, the reason they are around the criminals is they are part of the criminal economy of drugs, stolen property, welfare fraud, etc.
The Chicago Police department developed a victim profile that was so amazingly effective at predicting who would be a victim and about how much time they had left, they started notifying potential victims. If they were arrested for a violet crime, they got a point. More points for being arrested at the same time with more people. There were a lot of other ways to get points. But they could tell by how many points about how much time the potential victim had left. No word on how this cut down the rate. My guess is because the people notified fit into a lifestyle they couldn’t get out of even if they wanted to. The hammer sees the whole world as a nail. The thug sees the whole world as his victim. Hard to change that mindset and move to Idaho to take a job at Target stocking shelves.
