The U.S. military has conducted defensive precision airstrikes against three facilities near the Iraq-Syria border region Sunday evening.
According to Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby, the facilities are used by several Iran-backed militia groups engaged in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks against U.S. personnel and facilities in Iraq, including Kata'ib Hezbollah (KH) and Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada (KSS).
"As demonstrated by this evening's strikes, President Biden has been clear that he will act to protect U.S. personnel. Given the ongoing series of attacks by Iran-backed groups targeting U.S. interests in Iraq, the President directed further military action to disrupt and deter such attacks," Kirby added. "The United States took necessary, appropriate, and deliberate action designed to limit the risk of escalation - but also to send a clear and unambiguous deterrent message."

“Proportional”? That word should be the title of an entire chapter in a manual on how to make a bad situation worse and inevitably lose. From Truman, to Kennedy and LBJ, through Carter, Clinton, Obama, and now brain dead Joe, the Democrats have learn nothing but how to make any situation worse and make America lose. Two things. I never liked Kirby. More a leader of the “Queens Navy” than that of the U.S.
Also, I’m surprised that Biden allowed our military to hit anything other than two Iranian/Syrian outhouses and a came-milking station.
Or, as we say in law, in the alternative, perhaps nobody told Biden and Harris so that they couldn’t warn Iran about what was going to happen.
Somebody tell Gen. Milly Vanilli that someone with balls ordered the operation while he was instituting “anti-white extremism” classes in our military academies, including “Woke Point Academy”.
To myself. it should read as “to hit anything other than two Iranian/Syrian outhouses and a CAMEL-milking station”.
