2nd sentence....

Thanks for pointing me to the info!!

What can I say. Rather than taking responsibility for my lack of reading comprehension, I'll just blame it on my lack of patience. LOL!!

It was Clinton that received a large donation to his ‘charitable’ organization to get aspartame approved. That nastiness nearly killed me.

You aren’t going to like my history lesson.

Donald Rumsfeld was CEO of Searle that invented Aspartame and as head of Reagan transition team he allegedly suggested the new FDA head that approved aspartame

You’ve had it in gummies and things. More than about four and yes, you’ll have problems.

Well, it is different for everyone, but you fan know your cut off by using keto strips occasionally.

Boy that article is the biggest buttload of bunkum and blather I have read in a long time.

These sweeteners have been in use for 25 to 40 years now. And yet, here we are, still alive.

I’m very careful with my dogs. The alcohol sugars can cause GI distress in some people, but I’ve used Xylitol and Erythritol without issue. I find Xylitol to be better tasting and dissolves better.

Good for me. If it protects me against the ‘Rona’ while sweetening my tea that’s a plus.

I do not care for the cooling sensation erythromycin imparts to the taste. I have some, but use it rarely. I prefer to use Isomalt with a little monk fruit powder, as isomalt is only 75% as sweet as sugar. When I make keto ice cream, I make sweetened condensed milk from evaporated milk and isomalt, cooked til the consistency of condensed milk, cool it down to room temperature (or lower), whip 1 quart of heavy cream til soft peaks form, add a dash of salt, a teaspoon of vanilla, and whatever flavoring and nuts I want, then mix in the condensed milk and a little xanthan gum, taste it for sweetness, and mix in a little monk fruit powder if needed, and stick it in the freezer overnight. Makes wonderful low carb ice cream! Makes about 10 cups, 6.44g carbs, 38g fat, and 4.5g protein per cup.

Nothing is perfect, but I will take my chances with the artificial stuff.

Aspartame was approved by the Obama Administration in its first month of power.

Aspartame was first approved for use in foods in 1981 and in beverages in 1983. Just looked it up. :-)

Then saccharine.

(Something in the news that we’d never expect approval).

Indicative of corruption

I would ingest them and be down sometimes for days with dizzy episodes. Very scary actually the huge cause and effect by ingesting just a few swallows of something with it in it--not even a large amount. And I was very ill.

And to think all that money I wasted on dope when I was young.............................
