Looks like they’re going to try and bury it in a Friday afternoon news dump.
Politically, it’s tough to say: ‘Hey, there might be aliens or something visiting our planet’...
...and in the very next breadth say, ‘Now, please turn in all your ‘Assault Weapons.’
This is why the topic is a bit tricky for any Dem administration. It would be a lot less politically dissonant for a Republican to say: Aliens are here. Buy guns and ammo, now.
Guns are already flying off store shelves. This report likely won’t do anything to slow that down, putting Biden’s (and his handlers) in a difficult situation.
