Yeah, similar here. I few years back, I did something that was a no-brainer in my younger days. I cracked a rib in the process. I went to my doctor, and he said, “You have to quit acting like you’re 25 and start acting like you’re 55.” I turn 58 next week, and just did some heavy work on the yard for the first time this year. I got a feeling I’ll feel it by Saturday.

Similar here with a softball, but the problem turned out to be a problematic statin, not age. I switched to a different generic statin and can throw reasonably now but not 100% all-out. Afraid to try that.
I fell of a ladder into my yard about 18 months ago. Still feel the affect of that. Thankfully the soil was loose, but it still hurt my right shoulder. Was bruised for a couple of weeks. My left shoulder now hurts as well. Yep, being aged 60 definitely has its disadvantages.

LOL — so sad... my right shoulder is killing me from pulling a sparsely laden tarp.
I tried to climb out of a small window to work on my porch roof. Pulled my foot close to my rump and something popped in my knee. Took a year to heal at 79, but I did get the roof recovered with metal.
