I was pro shutting down international travel. And was pro-quarantines. More so than the government.

I was more pro-mask than the government. And early on called them out for lying to us initially that the public didn’t need masks.

I didn’t call for lock downs but I supported the initial lockdowns once they occurred. I acknowledged the lock downs would need to end. And I lamented that the initial lockdowns that we had were less effective because we were told to avoid masks in the beginning.

I don’t think I’ve supported extended lockdowns. But I did warn that without masks you would get extended lockdowns. But it doesn’t matter to me, because I’m fine hermitting.

I supported the calls for hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin to be used. I have ivermectin on hand. Which was contrary to the government’s call.

And I haven’t gotten the vax myself, because I’m fine with hermitting for a while longer.

I don’t like the false narratives that I see in all directions. But when it comes to safety of the vaccine vs getting covid, the numbers are pretty clear. And no amount of nitpicking the numbers changes the picture.

From what we now know, you’re laying out a false choice. There’s a third choice, involving ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, which we now know would’ve saved many/most/all of the lives of that 1.6%, except for the politicization of science.

The bottom line is these experimental vaccines were only given temporary FDA approval because there were no other viable treatments. That was a lie, and temporary approval of the experimental vaccines should be eliminated.

That’s true. That is a valid third alternative. And I have ivermectin on hand.

It seems both are effective at preventing illness and reducing the illness in the early stages. But my impression is that neither is as effective as the vaccine at prevention. But neither has a significant rate of side effects either.

If I was in charge, I wouldn’t have stopped the vaccines. But we’d have much better data on the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. And those drugs would be available to the public.

I understand what you’re saying, but we’ll never know how many lives could’ve been saved except for the politicization of science. And we’ve all heard how inflated COVID death stats are, where people were beheaded in an accident but their corpse tested positive so their death was a COVID death. Hospitals were paid for reporting COVID deaths, so follow the money. So the true numbers are probably an order of magnitude smaller.

Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine could be (and probably are) far more effective treatments. But they’re cheap and not making someone rich.

I seriously doubt the numbers are off by an order of magnitude.

In China, people were dropping dead on the street. That doesn’t happen here because we drive everywhere. Your example of people decapitated in a car accident in which they happen to have had covid, may well reflect a car accident caused by covid.

I lost my favorite uncle and aunt to covid. I almost lost another uncle. He fell when he was sick with covid and had internal bleeding as a result. He has recovered somewhat but is not doing well. If he had died, I would have blamed covid, not the fall.

I may be losing an aunt to the vaccine. She fell sometime after getting vaccinated and may have had a stroke after falling. Or maybe she had a stroke which caused the fall. Not sure how soon after the second shot.

But she had fallen a couple of times before getting vaccinated. So it’s really hard to tell whether the vaccine had anything to do with it. She’s in her 80’s, at that age, anything and everything you do or don’t do is a risk.

I’d like to see the odds of recovery from COVID using HCQ or Ivermectin and Zinc, along with Vitamins C & D ad maybe antibiotics.

They are comparing the vax numbers to untreated COVID patients. Treated COVID cases need to be included in the comparison.

My point is, they’re artificially inflated. Politicized science artificially inflated them profoundly over what they should’ve been. Fauci, the Chinese, etc., should be sued into oblivion. And there’s been at least anecdotal evidence of artificial inflation by the means I mentioned. Give people a monetary incentive with no real oversight and they’ll cheat.

I lost a cousin who was best man at my wedding. Several comorbidities. But nobody can prove me wrong that he would be alive today if science hadn’t been hijacked for political purposes, and he’d received ivermectin/hydroxychloroquine.

Total US deaths attributed to COVID-19 is 607,476. The CDC says that 6% of those are from COVID alone with no pre-existing conditions. That leaves us with 36,488 deaths totally attributed to COVID-19. At last report from VAERS there are 5888 deaths attributed to the vaccines. If we ignore the historical data showing that VAERS reporting misses anywhere from 90-99% of actual cases, we’re looking at a 16% comparison and rising quickly. Getting a vaccine for a virus that is 99% survivable is just plain stupid, especially since the vax does nothing to prevent contracting or shedding the virus.

2/ Here’s stratification by year of patient. As you can see, the post-second dose cases double from age 25 to 21, then double again in the 16-18 range.

The younger you are, the higher the risk.

A problem I have is when I see commercials for drugs on TV the first 15 seconds they talk about the benefits and the next 45 they talk about the side effects, including death...I have seen lots of vaccine commercials but there is no mention of any potential side effects or alert to consult your physician before getting the shot.

Considering that 60 of Americans have a comorbidity, your argument that only covid deaths with no comorbidity falls flat. 60% of Americans Have an Underlying Condition That Increases COVID-19 Risk Did you consider comorbidities of the people who died when they got the vaccine? Or did you take that number at face value and compare apples to oranges? Got to treat both equally. It's probably safe to say that at least 60% of those 5,888 deaths after the vaccine had a comorbidity. And if VAERS reporting was as bad as you say, there would be 58,880 to 588,800 deaths following the vaccines. You'd think someone would notice if it was that high. Saying that "Getting a vaccine for a virus that is 99% survivable is just plain stupid", is like saying "Refusing to play Russian Roulette when the survival rate is 83% is just plain stupid. A 1.6% odds of dying if I catch Covid are not odds I want to play. You play if you want to.
