A few observations. First, the author is Don Feder. What's his Freeper name?

Second, he perfectly elucidates the travesty that used to be The Republic. But, what's the solution? A litany of our faults does no good. Can we save it?

Finally, as he's going through the symptoms of our implosion, he noticeably omits legalized marijuana and the deleterious effect it's having on America. Weed attracts all addicts, cause even heroin addicts know that where you find one drug, you find them all.
