Have you ever watched Gilligans Island with a group of people, and twenty minutes into the show, somebody blurts out how unbelievable it is that Mrs Howell brought a fur coat on a three hour boat tour? As if everything up to that point was completely believable, and now the show is ruined for him because of that fur coat.
That’s what came to mind as I read through the comments, with all the speculation, and suddenly someone complained about one particular post, as if everything up to that point had been without speculation.
I know that a family is grieving the loss of a beautiful young daughter tonight - and for all you know, they read this site.
I think it’s a good idea to know something about a situation before you seize upon it as an opportunity to post what you think is a ‘witty’ observation.
