The full boat scholarship is not worth that much—the students are given easy passes and learn little that will help them in later life.
Time to end the farce and make them professionals.

You can take the remedial high school classes allocated for student athletes at any local community college
Most college athletes do not get full boat scholarships.

But if they get injured playing they lose the scholarship, which makes it a pile of crap.
nope- not when the schools and NCAA are making millions off your name and likeness.
They want to expand the CFP from 4 to 12 teams. Who benefits from that?? A college kid whose an NFL prospect that’s going to have to play an extra game or two? Or the NCAA and schools who’ll rake in billions??
Not even remotely compared to the value they bring in. Why should they only keep 1% of the value they bring to the school? Its a pure monopoly and it should be struck down, period.
Only if they take full advantage of it. But let’s face it, a LOT of football players are just barely smart enough to keep their scholarship when majoring in PE.
