“More fees, fewer options” would be better English.

Just dont go on a cruise. Physically go somewhere and explore it instead of sitting on a boat getting hammered.

The “hospitality” industry probably wouldn’t even try this had it not been for the “success” of treating smokers this way.

All in the name of protecting others health where there’s no actual basis for it.

At check-in, guests will be asked to provide documentation of their vaccination, such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card,” the policy states.

Easily downloadable and forged from the Internet. Complete with batch numbers, etc..

The CDC's "Vaccination Record Cards" are a joke. There's no way to validate their authenticity.

The joke is on the CDC and the Cruise Industry!

Carnival is charging $50 but its free for the passengers on the July and August cruises...so they dont cost that much...

The passengers have to arrive at the ship with a neg test taken within 72 hours and then Carnival will give them a quicky test and one again when they get back from the cruise...

My wife and I got vaccinated because of our RC cruise that we have booked for early next year. Not because of the cruise line’s requirements, but because I bet you will see port of call countries not allowing unvaccinated passengers to disembark.

We both tolerated the vaccine just fine. ( I got Pfizer, she got moderna)

This will serve it’s purpose in the short term, virtue signaling and sticking it to the republican governor’s. I’m sure there’s enough of a population of cruisers eager to belly up to their buffet lines to get through at least a few months this way. If the policies start hurting the bottom line, they’ll ease up, still smug in the knowledge they got away with mocking their potential customers.

I bet you could go to the Texas/Mexico border and buy a very good vaccine card forgery from the cartel. I wonder what their pricing is.

Whenever a business says that uninfected, unvaccinated people must wear masks, I ignore it and go right in unmasked.

For this, I’d simply not give them my money, period.

"At check-in, guests will be asked to provide documentation of their vaccination, such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card,” the policy states. It continues: “Those who are 16 and older, and do not have or are unable to provide documentation will be considered unvaccinated,” which leaves the option of whether to disclose their vaccination status entirely in the customers’ hands.

So wait...I thought the Florida law was that they couldn't ask for proof of vaccination?

The Cruise Ship Industry will lose to DeSantis and in the end they will look foolish.
