Eleven U.S. mayors said Friday they are committed to paying reparations for slavery but gave few details on how they would accomplish the task.
The group, led by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, announced a coalition to pursue reparations, Mayors Organized for Reparations and Equity (MORE).

so if you’re black and live in one of these cities, and this goes through and you get your reparations. does this mean that you cannot receive any further reparations, or can you double-dip. and if so, what about those who didn’t get the local reparations?
It’s about time. The British compensated their slave owners for emancipated slaves back in the day. The US never did.

While they're at it, they can pay reparations to the Republicans for the same reason, and for attacking those who opposed the Jim Crow and other laws they passed.
So when do I get my reparations?

I know there's a commonality here that escapes me ... but I have a feeling that there's is an all-out effort to slow down the exodus of a particular demographic group from the Democrat/Left/communist Party plantation ...

Sacramento under mayor Steinberg has become one big homeless camp. Trash and graffiti everywhere. The rivers are full of e-coli. Now he he wants to force us to pay reparations to people because of the color of their skin?
Let’s see how this works:
They are taking money from people who never owned slaves and giving it to people who never were slaves, based solely on the color of each person’s skin.
How is this not racist?
The Reparation Checks, actually Direct Deposits, are always paid out on time.
Because the victims of that racism won’t do anything about it?
In all of these reparation postings the creation of Liberia never gets mentioned.
