Raw, real...
I hate to admit it but I had tears in my eyes..
Students of acting and theater should watch this to see how an actor portrays reality; I never really cared for the show, especially the later ones, but this was about the most amazing acting I've even seen in a sitcom.....
Still can't believe they did that. She WAS the "Roseanne" show. People watched it to see her. No surprise at all that it flopped after they axed her.
Thanks for posting this.
Actually, the show is still running without Roseanne. It's called "The Conners" (I've never watched it).
Great find.
You have to listen to 12 minute ads now without any way of skipping them . . . this is probably how Y/T plans to keep people from watching videos they don’t care for. At least you can mute them and do something else for the time it takes to run if you are really desperate enough to watch the original video you clicked on Y/T to watch.
My son set my phone up with a bootlegged copy of You Tube Premium, so I don’t get any adds at all.
Got canceled. It wasn’t very good without her genius. Gilbert did her best, but after the first epi of Conners, which was actually a very good tie-in, it went rapidly downhill.
Same here. I had no idea that Halley Berry was black, either. I just thought she was hot and had a deep tan. Then she says she’s the first African American woman to win an Oscar, and suddenly—News Flash!—she’s black. OK. So what.
Never saw the show.
It started in ‘88, around the same time that Rush went national, and it was brilliant. I can never get tired of watching the re-runs. It’s up there with the Beverly Hillbillies, Adams Family and the Munsters in my list of favorites.
And while it doesn’t have the numbers when Roseanne was there, it’s still holding its own. I wonder if the Roseanne fawning would be the same if she were a lib?
Roseanne was hillarious in the SNL skit with the Late Phil Hartman...

Most disgusting thing in the aftermath was how the MSM people would try to interview her and then sadistically torment her while she was having a nervous breakdown. So much for compassion for the mentally ill. Would they treat Jim Kerry or Robin Williams this way? Sometimes, you have to be a little crazy to produce comedy.
She is a Lib. She supported Trump because he promised jobs for working class people, and a better deal for blacks than the leftards are shoving at them.
A real liberal, as opposed to the Communists who hijacked the term.
I didn’t watch the Roseanne reboot, but I understand she was inserting conservative remarks into the show, which endeared her to FReepers. It is strange that ABC canceled “Last Man Standing” which featured Tim Allen as a conservative guy in a house full of women but they hung onto “The Conners” without Roseanne which was not as highly rated.
I guess we tend to judge by worldview and not talent. While not my cup of tea, I do recognize she has talent. She is often funny. (I don’t care for loud women….Roseanne, Lucy, Laverne & Shirley). Last Man was picked up by Fox, ran a few seasons and then got cancelled too. Half hour sitcoms are a tough sell. People are into 1 hour strips, usually crime related.
