Is he from the frozen chicken's don't fly show?
I've never watched the show but that's all I ever hear about. Frozen chickens dropped from a helicopter or some such.

It was turkeys that didn’t fly. And the turkeys were alive. You should watch the episode...it is very funny.

Live turkeys ... yes, Les Nesman was the character with the line “I thought turkeys could fly.”

Frozen chickensIt was a Thanksgiving episode and the frozen meat were Turkeys, except they were alive and being dropped over a parking lot. It really was hysterical.
The last line was from the actor playing the station owner; "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."

Wasn’t it turkeys? And yeah that was a very funny show, a real hoot when we needed hoots. My two favorite shows in that era were WKRP and Barney Miller. Of course Columbo was without peers and tops for dramas to me, but for comedy WKRP and Barney Miller were the best.
