Wasn’t that Les Nessman who pretended to unlock the door?

That was a great sitcom. I also liked Les Nessman and Johnny Fever.

When Howard Hesseman and Loni Anderson were going to leave the show, they did the wise thing and just decided to end the series rather than bring on different characters. What I liked about the show was, NO CUTE KIDS and no “very special episodes” except for the last scene of an episode revolving around The Who appearing in Cncinnati.

Live turkeys for a publicity stunt on Thanksgiving.

That is one of the funniest scenes in sitcom history -- 'Oh my gosh! I got a monkey on my foot!'

I still LOL every time I think of that scene.

It was turkeys that didn’t fly. And the turkeys were alive. You should watch the episode...it is very funny.

RIP. I watched an interview with him and he seemed to be that very interesting and thoughtful person and I am aware of his becoming a director. That now has him and Gordon Jump and Carol Bruce as dearly departed WKRP cast members.
