“Cardio is key.”
If you have forever.
But if you want to see real results it comes from weight training and diet.
Cardio is essential for fitness and health, but weight loss comes from building muscle. You build some muscle in your cardio routine, but you have to be anaerobic (HIIT)to get best results.
And building muscle is painful and hard as hell.
And you can’t eat sh!t and expect to build muscle from it.
“And building muscle is painful and hard as hell.”
Not for me.
I was a natural body builder for about 7 years. Weights were easy, the diet is what about killed me.
Once a person builds that ‘base physique’ with weights, it only takes minimal effort to maintain it for the rest of their lives.
I’m 44 and really only need to pump iron 3 times a week minimally to maintain the pump/strength I wish to have.
I have upped my cardio game big time and I have to run about 20 miles per week as the metabolism ain’t what it used to be.
