I like broccoli just fine but no way it is or will ever be America’s favorite. Corn would win IMHO, with lettuce a close second.

Broccoli is America’s favorite vegetable It’s no secret that everyone loves broccoli...

Displaying their affection for Broccoli, Americans have stolen the White house for an "Administration" with Intelligence equal to that of the revered Broccoli.

Nope.

Depending on how you classify things (legally it’s a vegetable, but in many ways it’s a fruit), tomatoes for me.

Dietetically, corn is often classed as a starch, but I like fresh corn on the cob.

If we’re really talking about green vegetables, I’ll take fresh baby spinach, and have a salad.

It’s not unacceptable, but broccoli isn’t that near the top.

I like broccoli but my favorite vegetable is asparagus.

I find it hard to believe that broccoli is America's favorite vegetable, even though I personally like it. Corn, lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes (yes I know it's technically a fruit) probably have far more sales. Possibly carrots, celery, green beans, and asparagus as well.

If everybody loves broccoli so much, why are health experts always saying we need to eat more of it?

I choose Olives, the only way to eat broccoli is when its covered with cheese, so you can’t taste the broccoli.

Everyone now that George H.W. Bush is dead, that is.

If you include how many ways corn can be processed it has to be number one. How many people drink broccoli squeezins? How many eat popped broccoli? Broccoli cakes? Broccoli bread? Creamed broccoli? etc.

My favorite vegetable is marinated artichokes. I like broccoli, but I'm not so sure about its cousin, rapini, which goes with Italian cuisine. It tasted too bitter when I first had some, but I ate some more recently, and it tasted OK.

My least favorite vegetable is yucas, a root vegetable found in many Caribbean and South American dishes. Although they are bitter, I eat them when they're on my plate because they are full of nutrients.

Who is the gentleman sitting next to Roger Moore? Albert Broccoli...He is responsible for many James Bond films...

By the way, they both passed away...

"Albert Romolo Broccoli was born in Astoria, Queens (New York City) on April 5th, 1909. His mother and father, Cristina and Giovanni Broccoli, raised young Albert in New York on the family farm. The family was in the vegetable business, and Albert claimed one of his uncles brought the first broccoli seeds into the United States in the 1870's."
