The donkey went and destroyed the crops in an adjacent farmer's land. Infuriated, the farmer's wife shot the donkey and killed it.
The donkey's owner was devastated at the loss. In reply, he shot dead the farmer's wife.
Angered by his wife's death, the farmer took a sickle and killed the donkey's owner.
The wife of the donkey's owner got so angry that she and her sons set the farmer's house on fire.
The farmer, looking at his house turned into ashes, killed the wife and children of the donkey's owner.
Finally, when the farmer was full of regret, he asked the ghost why did he kill them all?
The ghost replied, "I killed nobody. I just released a donkey tied to a tree. It is all of you who released the devils within you which resulted in everything bad that occurred thereafter."
Today's media is like that ghost. It keeps releasing donkeys daily. And people react and argue with each other, hurt each other, without having a second thought. In the end, the media dodges all responsibilities.
So, it's our responsibility to not react to every donkey released by the media and preserve our relationship with our friends, relatives, and community.
“Somebody did something”?
Bad premise. Very bad premise.
The media knows full well what it does.
They are virtually all socialiat/leftist, they espouse and report from a near universal leftist worldview. They slant stories to attack enemies and protect friends while claiming to be objective and the guardians of truth.
Bad analogy. But I do like the story in and of itself.
OMG , i HATE that SNEER!
Reminds me of the Killing of the OX in Sir James Frasier’s THE GOLDEN BOUGH.
Chapter XLIX
” Oxen were driven round the altar, and the OX which went up to the altar and ate the offering on it was sacrificed. The axe and knife with which the beast was slain had been previously wetted with water brought by maidens called “water-carriers.” The weapons were then sharpened and handed to the butchers, one of whom felled the OX with the axe and another cut its throat with the knife.
As soon as he had felled the OX, the former threw the axe from him and fled; and the man who cut the beast’s throat apparently imitated his example. Meantime the OX was skinned and all present partook of its flesh.
Then the hide was stuffed with straw and sewed up; next the stuffed animal was set on its feet and yoked to a plough as if it were ploughing.
A trial then took place in an ancient law-court presided over by the King (as he was called) to determine who had murdered the OX.
The maidens who had brought the water accused the men who had sharpened the axe and knife; the men who had sharpened the axe and knife blamed the men who had handed these implements to the butchers; the men who had handed the implements to the butchers blamed the butchers; and the butchers laid the blame on the axe and knife, which were accordingly found guilty, condemned, and cast into the sea.”
In other words, BLAME THE TOOL!
I can’t imagine this child ever having a husband.
But it’s a poor workman who blames his tools. Or so it is said. Or something.
Or worse...bring it back to this world in a mortal body.
