A litter of gray wolf pups has been spotted in Colorado for the first time in around 80 years, according to state wildlife officials.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife said last week that several staff members have observed at least three pups of the endangered species in June. The parents are believed to be M2101 and F1084, or John and Jane as they're known by CPW, who were seen with the pups in the area north of Denver.

I am all for having a healthy and balanced environment. I am also armed anytime I am in the outdoors.

“I am all for having a healthy and balanced environment. “

I got a letter from a university because they were releasing wolves in my area and they had to solicit comments. Well, it was already in progress and the letter was really to educate me not to run from a wolf. Everywhere in the letter in the examples it referred to “a” wolf. Wolves hunt in packs. There are children lined up every morning in rural neighborhoods waiting for the bus. If the wolf plan is successful and we have wolves thriving, then it won’t be “a” wolf. I really hate that someone living four states away is federally funded to make my neighborhood more dangerous.

It’s ok if wolves eat the children of the unwashed. However, all hell will break loose when a wolf eats the child of some elite.

Southern Wisconsin has a Black Bear on the loose. Spotted 4x so far; last time was yesterday. They think it’s the same young male looking for a wife. ;)

Everyone that wants to take my guns needs to live, work and play where they are part of the food chain.

Churchill said - “There is nothing in life so exhilarating as to be shot at without result.”

I would also add that being face to face with an animal that is preparing to eat you will get you “exhilarated.”

This wasn’t life threatening, but I remember as a young boy being chased by a blue racer. I was quite “exhilarated.”

Elk hunting in MT many years ago, sitting at the top of a large bowl of a valley until it got too dark to safely shoot. Stood up to walk out and a damn cougar let loose with one of their screams directly behind me in the thick brush.

Brought the rifle up and of course with a scope couldn’t see a dang thing so I pulled out my backup revolver and slowly started backing away.

Never walked down a mountain at night backwards before, if that is what he meant by exhilarating then he can bloody well enjoy that on his own.

"Just another day on the farm!" LOL!

Here's my current Bear Dog in Training. 'Shasta,' who is an English Coon Hound. And, yes! That IS A cow kneecap. She found that all my herself. Good for gnawing on.

Between this and putting subsidized housing in suburban areas, they want to eliminate safe spaces for people so they can be clustered together for easier control and be dependent on government for safety.

Missouri is having its first ever bear hunting season in October 2021.
Have indications that mountain lions are making a comeback in the Ozarks.

Yep doesn’t make sense. All I could figure out it was a tracing
item to keep up with where the critter was at. The article didn’t
explain the collar. JMO.
