The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says a cashier at the Big Bear Supermarket has been killed after being shot during an altercation over a mask.
Sheriff Melody Maddox says a male suspect pulled out a gun and shot the cashier at the location. We do not yet know the identity of the woman who was killed, only that she was working as a cashier at the supermarket.
Sheriff Maddox said authorities do not know the specifics about the altercation over the mask, or what the store's policy is. Maddox said there were multiple people inside the supermarket when the shooting occurred.
Authorities did provide an update on the sheriff's deputy who was shot after the altercation at the supermarket, saying he responded to the shooting and opened fire on the gunman, striking him multiple times.

Georgia grocery store cashier shot dead by customer after argument over face masks

A cashier at the Big Bear Supermarket in Decatur, Georgia, was shot dead Monday afternoon by a customer who had gotten in an argument with her about wearing a face mask, left the store without buying anything, and returned with a handgun, DeKalb County Sheriff Melody Maddox and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Monday evening. The customer, identified by the GBI as Victor Lee Tucker, 30, also exchanged fire with a reserve sheriff’s deputy working security at the store and wounded another cashier.
Tucker and the security guard were both wounded and taken to separate hospitals where both men are listed in stable condition. Maddox said the reserve deputy was hit twice by gunfire but was wearing a bulletproof vest. DeKalb County police arrested Tucker as he was trying to crawl out the store’s front door. The GBI said it was asked to investigate the incident because an officer was involved in the gunfire. Decatur is a suburb of Atlanta.

There have been instances of violence over face masks worldwide, and it’s only going to get worse. People getting assaulted both over refusing to wear a mask and for telling someone to put a mask on. Thanks go out to the propaganda police who led people to believe masks actually had some sort of benefit.

What an idiot. No concept of time. Not yet, anyway. When he could have been more keenly aware that there was so much of his life ahead of him to do well, and to advance in ways that he may have been able to look back and have no doubt that he was at least reasonably responsible enough of a citizen to that point, and that it could get even better as life went on, but NO! Not a second chance, for this half-a-man to demonstrate his potential for evil, and you would think that obviously, it would be a good thing. I’ve got some Breaking News for you, it is the BEST thing because this is just one, among perhaps, the millions of incidents to follow, and it won’t necessarily have anything whatsoever to do with COVID-19. Time in prison, a lifetime under lock and key to look forward to should be enough for them to develop a sense of how things could have been if not for their lack of a concept of time.
