Rest In Peace. No more squealing like a pig.
Ned played many roles but I will always associate him with “squeal like a pig” unfortunately.
Sadly, I’ll always remember him for his disturbing scenes in “Deliverance.” R.I.P.
Great actor.
Being his stunt double was the worst job in Hollywood.
RIP
Fine actor
He had the hardest part
Great character actor. So many different things I saw him and it’s hard to keep track.
I enjoyed him as the Senator from Montana in the movie “Shooter”. Especially that bastard’s demise at the end. I enjoyed him as Rudy’s dad too.
He never lived that down until the day he died. “Squel louder”
His wiki has yet to be updated....amazing
Anyone ever listen to the Greaseman in DC and Jacksonville radio? I was on his show in 1991...
Anyway, ole Greasemanelli loved him ole Ned. Bet the Grease is sad.
Just damn.
One of the best character actors that ever lived.
RIP Ned.
Ned had a place next to my ex-spouses’ place up in the Sequoias. I recall seeing him through the woods on his property and summoning restraint on the part of my 28 year old self to not make certain noises in his direction. He had a lot of friends up there. Regular guy.
His son, Doug, was a local talk radio guy in southern DE in the mid-late 2-teens.
Nice guy.
RIP!
Late 70s greaseman in Jacksonville I recall....
I lived out on Neptune beach.....it was unusual DJ and talk
Vulgar before Stern and Neil Rogers
Great actor, RIP .
