They’ve been popular for years. They’ve dominated the Grammys. When the kids here ‘make me’ watch it I have to act. I do not get it but I encourage it. It is nice and they have an inspirational effect on their audience. They’re good
But they’ve been around and popular for years.
Anyone wanting to have a conversation with a niece, granddaughter or so would be smart to check this out.
I could be wrong, but I think a lot of the actual individuals come and go. I’ve been a lot of obits for K-pop stars who “lose their shine” and have their career end at 25. They don’t take it well (suicide). Now, perhaps there are some individual K-pop stars who have been on the top of the charts for 25 years and are rich like Madonna or Garth Brooks, but I think most of them have short careers.
