Officially called the "2018β20 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament," that mouthful is traditionally pared down to "Euro 2020" or, even more succinctly, the "Euros."
This is the 16th edition of the tournament, which is designed to crown the top international team in all of Europe. After years of qualifying matches, we're down to the final 24 teams, broken into six groups of four for the group stage.

What’s the Over/Under on the ‘Mostly Peaceful Brawls’ that will be breaking out? ;)
Maybe I am biased but the tournament starts today with a bunch of thugs, Italy versus Turkey.
Thank You for the thread and ping! β½β½ππ
I saw a World Cup game a few years back on a major network... ok, I tried, but managed to see the first 30 minutes. It was Iran vs someone. What I saw was the national anthem of each country being played, and the players on those teams put their arms around each other and sing along. Even relatively pampered players from sh*thole countries do this with tears in their eyes and it’s very normal. Only in our woke republic do these abnormal athletes hate the very people and country that gave them so much.
Ugh!
England will continue to take a knee before their games throughout Euro 2020 and are βmore determined than everβ to ignore any boos from the stands, according to manager Gareth Southgate.

Group F is the “Group of Death”. One of those teams that don’t go through is one of the top 8 teams in the tournament.
FIFA should really seed the groups.
After embarrassingly failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, Italy won all 10 of their qualifying matches for Euro 2020 and enter the tournament on a 27-match unbeaten run."We want to go all the way," Bonucci added. "Other national teams have more experience but we can play with anyone. We don't have a (Romelu) Lukaku or a Cristiano Ronaldo. Our strength is the team."
Turkey took four points off France in qualifying, including a 2-0 win over the World Cup winners, and lost only one of their matches to finish second in Group H.
"Being in this tournament and playing in the opening match makes us proud," Turkey coach Senol Gunes said. "In every opening game there are surprises and I hope we can also spring one."
May the team with the most fans (in the stands) win!
Thank you!
I wish they could both lose.
