Anybody who would put pineapple on a pizza would eat dog crap!
We lived near Bella Napoli for a few years(where pizza was popularized). Our favorite pizza was a pizza margarita (cheese pizza) with arugula, we would have them put the arugula on after it came out of the oven.
Fresh thin crust and sauce, mozzarella di buffula(water buffalo-higher fat content and different taste than latte). And a sprig of basilica. A couple of minutes in the oven and it is amazing pizza. Nothing any where else comes close. The kids liked a Peter Pan pizza which Had hot dogs on it.
Had a roommate who when in college would order anchovies and onion pizza, no one wanted any of his pie. I tried it and liked it
Both are deceptive. It’s ham, and I’m 36% sure that Canadians didn’t invent ham.
Believe it or not, Target has a pretty good frozen margherita pizza. They sell them under their Archer Farms house brand. There are two versions. The one to get says “Made in Italy” on the label and has a super short ingredient list.
i like pineapple, ham, and bacon on pizza...
and i would never consider eating dog crap...
I knew a vegan gal who would order pepperoni pizzas and toss the meat into the garbage. So much for respecting animals not to eat them as it’s ok to kill them just to throw them in the garbage. As if the meat juice didn’t remain on the pizza.
She also ate pork ‘n beans never understanding what the white cubes were.
Pizza should have tomato sauce and cheese. Pepperoni and sausage are the only acceptable toppings.
On a lighter note...
A neighbor of mine used to do contract work all over the world putting up cell phone towers.
He once got a 1 year contract to work in Italy. He loved Italian food so I thought he would come home with tales of great food.
Instead he came home complaining about the food in Italy claiming his wife made better Italian food than the Italians. That was when I realized he loved Americanized Italian food.
I dont want to hear any explanations for putting pineapple on a pizza. Theres just no excuse for it.
Just to let you know up here in Canada there is no Canadian bacon. It seems to be an American oddity in food naming. This is from wiki
The term “Canadian bacon” is not used in Canada, where the product is generally known simply as “back bacon” while “bacon” alone refers to the same streaky pork belly bacon as in the United States.
I like barbeque sauce on pizza just fine, but why stop with sauce? Pulled pork on pizza is amazing! Now, I’m hungry!
I never really thought it was bacon. Had not bothered to check the source of the mis-naming, so thank you for that.
Bacon is curious and while a food, it is interesting to aee what other countries call bacon. On my trip through Ireland, we had rashers of bacon. I kept saying it was sliced ham. Certainly not the bacon I know.
Chicken. Chicken has no place on pizza.
The best pizza topping is whichever one you like the most.
Tomatoes are a fruit.
I miss Shakey’s pizza. Really used to love it.
Here’s the real news:
put whatever you want on your pizza
don’t put whatever you don’t want on your pizza
but once you start judging someone over their pizza toppings (especially if they’re not giving pizza to you) you’re an idiot, STFU
The best pizza topping is whichever one you like the most.

This kind of circumspection has no place here. /jk
Personal experience on both?
I like chicken with ranch dressing pizza
