PORTLAND (WGME) -- Eight Mainers have died with COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated, according to the Maine CDC.

While it's a rare occurrence, it can leave families in shock and heartbroken.

Eager and ready for normalcy, Arthur Mitchell got his second dose of the Moderna vaccine on March 8.

“Counted out his two weeks to be fully vaccinated, was very excited about that,” daughter Margaret Staggs said.

Staggs says once the family was fully vaccinated, they finally relaxed after a year of restrictions.

“We probably all took a deep breath and let our guard down a little bit,” Staggs said.

About four weeks later, Staggs, her husband and her father all tested positive for COVID-19.

Are there any statistics for vaccinated people spreading the virus to others?

Probably not something easy to track, I’m guessing.

Just wondering if I should avoid socializing with vaccinated people.

so over 840+/- Mainers died from covid, 8 of which after they were fully vaccinated, so 100X more people who were not vaccinated than those that were vaccinated.

Simple math says odds favor getting vaccinated if you want to avoid dying.

The vaccine did not exist for the first 10-11 months where hundreds of deaths occurred.

They’re spreading something, but it’s not the virus. There’s no virus in these shots, as with other actual vaccines. Spike proteins is my guess. I don’t know about statistics, but there have been plenty of reports. The most usual symptoms seem to be uterine bleeding/clotting for females (of all ages) and testicular swelling/low sperm count for males. They say Ivermectin helps prevent such transmissions, and as a natural remedy, pine needle tea is supposed to contain some helpful ingredient, as well. I try to practice social distancing with jabbed people.

Fauci was asked by University of Chicago research associate William J. Buikema on Feb. 28 of last year about why vaccines still in the early testing phase could not be used for emergency purposes to keep everyone “safe” against the Chinese Virus.

Fauci’s response was to instruct National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) deputy director Cristina Cassetti to inform Buikema that the jabs are basically promoters of disease.
