Profits regardless of consequences.

If the Communist Chinese sunk a couple of our warships, killing 5,000+ would these companies still be peddling Chinese products? If the Chinese concoct and import more deadly viruses in the future, putting American on it's knees once again, will they still be selling these imported Communist products?

Because they’re cheap.

And the American producers have been put out of business by Cheap Crap From China.

And at least one FReeper celebrates this.

Average American manufacturing worker makes $30 per hour. Average Chinese factory worker gets $4.

Even with shipping and tariffs you won’t find many customers if your store has only American made goods and the one next door has Chinese ones at a quarter the price.

Look closer and you’ll start noticing “Assembled in the USA”.

Guess what that means.

Because the American economy would collapse without Chicom products.

Corporations are peddling Chinese goods for various reasons like profits, Americans willing to buy the products, product not made in America a and not least the government is now in the hands of China visible by low tarrifs. What this to change we need to put America first as president Trump ststdd.

Americans need to stop buying Chinese made products as much as possible - we stop buying the stores stop stocking them.

The way we beat China is to stop funding them.

We should all realize that Chinese products are often cheap, as in inexpensive, because they are for the most part cheap, as in crap.

Because the majority of Americans (including conservatives) have been falsely blamed, insulted and divided by moronic importers, import vendors and service bosses. It’s not about masks or vaccines. It’s about the anti-American trade regime. We are now slaves to foreign tourists, who couldn’t even feed themselves in the recent past.

I’ll not only avoid some foreign products. I’ll be avoiding restaurants and other services, too.

Yes, we need more production on U.S. soil. Most of that production can be done in well ventilated shops, too.

And BTW, to clear up some misinformation that’s been going around,... I know welders who work in production shops. Some of them could be certified now, and they’re happy enough with $18 per hour. Same with some custom machinists. And employee wages (not counting overfed management) comprise a very small portion of costs in manufacturing.

Farming out our manufacturing to slave labor all around the world was the only way we could truly mask the financial ruin and destruction of the purchasing power of the US Dollar, If it were not for cheap goods made somewhere else, the cost of most items we all use would be about 5 times what they are today. This is first time a Central Bank has managed to Float thier currency around the world to foreign countries by them using it as thier benchmark(reserve), Every Moneychangers Wet Dream!! They will NUKE anyone that gets in thier way, they will stop at nothing to retain thier power over the Worlds Economies

I might add that this started in 1965 with the coinage act of 1965, which was passed right after welfare, because ther was NO MONEY, the only way to pay for Welfare was to DEBASE THE CURRENCY by Printing MONEY , and has gone on ever since. by 1971 Nixon had to close the Gold Window and then he opened up China to America....

I bought some Tacticon optics for an AR.

Veteran owned company the listing on Amazon says.

Made in China is what the box says.

I sent them back.

Nice stuff, cheap, I can’t stomach this crap.

This is US companies selling the rope to hang us all.

I’ve read a number of posts on this thread. I am retired from a large global corporation. They are global because they sell all over the world. Some countries require that a certain amount of foreign manufacturing must occur in their country for the corporation to sell there. I’m not saying that is the whole reason, but it is part of it. They employ and source parts from the foreign country to be able to sell their products there.

Blame whoever opened the door to trade with China, a communist country, the ideology that used to be our enemy.

The reason big biz likes them is two-fold.
Cheaper.
Zero worker annoyances.
