Romans 1:18-32
Flee from fellowship with such persons.
“majority-LGBTQ congregation at The Table, a “faith collective”
Lots to unpack, there.
She's right but she left out "He's waiting for you to repent"
Don't tell me it is genetic. They were all groomed into this lifestyle of sin.
She prefers the term “faith collective” to church.
Translation: All beliefs and ideologies are the same, make up your own idea of God and it’s OK.
“Even if you let go of God, God has not let go of you”.
Translation: Do what you want in life, sin has no consequences cause , well, you’re loved.
“God has not let go of you’”
Other way around.
Lutherans have nothing to do with this freak show.
Now do your part, and don’t let go of him.
Why is this cr** in the news day after day...They can do what they want...leave us alone. It’s just plain annoying...like all the black commercials.

Well, that’s true. God has not “let go” of them, unless they want him to. But He has standards of behavior for all of us. Don’t steal stuff, don’t screw your neighbors wife, don’t eat like a pig, don’t gossip, don’t drink till you fall down, etc, and one of those is don’t “have sex” with someone of your own gender. Those laws benefit us and everyone else when we follow them.
If the Rev’s mom had been queer she would have never been born.
wow..... God does a reach around
It is necessary to keep this most important fact before FReepers. In the Bible, there are TWO G(g)ods spoken of.
There is the Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth, and there is the “god of this world.” One is worshiped by Born-again Christians and covenant Jews.
The other is venerated by the rest of humanity, including all religions (including Islam).
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
Understanding this simple truth will go far in helping you to understand your Bible much easier, and account for most of the celebrities and athletes and politicians (both sides of the aisle) that “give thanks to god . . .”
Demons abound. She is only screeching to the choir.
We’re all sinners.
But you are foolish to point out a sin and treat it as a virtue.
So words like church, parish, religion are now out of fashion, in favor of the anodyne, rather meaningless “faith collective.” Soon enough, even that term will be forced to give way to something even more meaningless for fear of offending someone, or breaking away from contemporary traditions. It’s just more manifestation of reducing language to little more meaning than grunts.
God didn’t let go, you walked away.
She said she prefers "faith collective" to "church," because "church," to some people, is synonymous with exclusion
Well it isn't also isn't "church" with that kind of content, so that's fine for her to call it something else.
The book of Jude repeats itself.
