Hard to believe it has been almost as long since that speech as that speech was since D-day.

I’m getting much older. Much older than I believe I think. Which means I don’t tend to dee things as younger people do I suppose.

No, I believe we see things from a different perspective that is the sum of all of our experiences to date and our sense of normal resulting from that. It is the twist that makes history not repeat but rhyme. It is the reason people can look at equal facts and come to different conclusions. We logically come to the same conclusions but flavor them with ourselves.

Some people get older and wiser some just get old. Some accumulate and build on experience others just experience the same thing over and over waking in a new old world every day.
