1) Attach them by wire reel to the device.
2) Attach them by Velcro(tm) to the device.
3) Put labels on them with matching labels on the device

If you have an Apple TV for a streaming device your iPhone (and iPad if you have one) is your remote control.

I use 2 remotes.
One for the LG tv and regular programming and the 2nd one is the ROKU remote. I use the LG remote to switch inputs to the Roku deivice then the Roku remote to select the tv apps like Sling, Netflix, prime video (Amazon) and pluto. The one I use the most is Youtube.
I go to Youtube on the computer and click on the Subscribe button for the shows I watch.

TV tuner, antenna rotor, Fire box, DVD player, 4-way HDMI switch, home theater sound, projector = 7 for me. Plus rc lights, so 8.

If you have a laptop w/good graphics, say a gaming type, just get the signal off the internet (Hulu, etc.) w/it, and then run an hdmi cable to the monitor. You can get several inputs, say you have a hulu and youtube. Handles them all pretty quickly. And you can really mess with mess with the graphic and audio options.

You have the remote for monitor on/off and overall sound, and that’s all you need. Sometimes you can mute a long ad series (I hate most ads) and check the hockey game, etc.

Two remotes. Want to turn the TV on. Want to turn the Roku on.

And I really don’t need a remote for the Roku. My smart phone will do the trick.

I’ve got two. Well, four if you count the actual TV remote which is only needed for setup and the occasional adjustment and the Sony blu-ray audio/DVD unit which is only really need for DVDs that we don’t really use anymore.

Otherwise, it’s Tivo & AppleTV. With CEC enabled, everything turns on at once regardless of which remote/input is used.

I tried to open my Youtube app today on the Roku but it would not. The fix was to remove and add back. Remove from Roku then go to Roku website to install again.

I had the choice of signing in using the virtual keyboard on the tv or the youtube app on the cell phone which I did not have updated, it says Pending when I tried. I used the virtual keyboard and it was slow but everything back as it was. Many many channels to subscribe to and they have lots more interesting content then regular tv.

Get rid of your entertainment addiction. Learn a skill...grow a vegetable. Read a good informative book.

I bought a Universal remote, then my TV encountered a blackhole in its universe.

Universal remotes aren't worth a d_mn. You need to invest in a learning remote (programmable). You use it to read and copy the outputs from your other remotes. Then you can use the one remote, and switch from device to device with the touch of a button. Here is an example:

I have a laptop connected to my 50 inch TV via HDMI. I have a wireless mouse and keyboard. I watch just about everything through my laptop. I am surfing FR right now on my TV. I can surf the web during commercials if I’m watching TV. The only remote I use is to turn on the TV (which also turns on my surround sound receiver). After that everything is a click of the mouse. This works great for me.

"I use 2 remotes."

I only use two as well. The one issued by Spectrum cable which controls my TV, DVR and DVD player, and my Roku remote control.
