Neat!
Do you have garlic? I’m abut to cut my scapes.
Ed
I’ve grown small batches of garlic in the past, but this fall I will have a dedicated bed for them, as Beau built me two more 4’x8’ raised beds earlier this spring.
Right now those beds are growing ‘gourmet’ tomatoes, which are the ones I like to grow for ‘fancy’ colorful platters and fresh eating, versus the ‘pedestrian’ varieties I grow for canning Salsa, V-8, Tomato Soup and Bloody Mary Mix.
I like a hardneck garlic, versus a softneck variety, because of the scapes, too!
I made up a small batch of your Weed Be Gone and it seems to work....going to make up more.....
đThanks for letting me know. Glad it works. Reminds me - I need to put vinegar on the grocery list.
Too funny! lol
Absolutely!
I did it! I finally got my own Crystal Toadstools assembled. Of course, I've already broken one, too. ;)
Even meaning to tell you, I made the buttery ranch mushrooms to pair with wine-braised short ribs for hubby for Fatherâs Day! Sooo good and will be making them again. I had the day get away from me, so instead of the crock pot method, I quartered the mushrooms, which werenât quite button sized but the smallest I could find. Then I basically sautĂ©ed them according to the recipe. I started them off on medium high heat, then turned in down to med-low for 30-45 minutes. As I said, so good and my husband just loved them with the short ribs. Thanks again for the tip!
