We had a mice problem in our horse barn. One day a cat just showed up and after 3-4 weeks no more mice. Cat then moved on. We never did find out who owned it or if it was feral

I had a cat, Scooter(God rest his soul) and he was one hell of a mouser. I live on the outskirts of The New Jersey Pine Barrens so it was not unusual to have mice around, inside and out.

Over a period of a few months he got five of the filthy things.
He got one with a single paw from behind my refrigerator. He was a terror to mice.
