Imagine all we suspect is correct: he supported and got funding for gain of function research. He funneled millions to the Wuhan lab. He collided with the Chinese government on all their idiotic “solutions.” He his the truth of its origins. He fanned panic. He thwarted good care for those stricken. He got up on TV daily and lectured us on all his non-solutions, insisting that we abandon our civil rights for the greater good.

Then he writes a book about it like he’s some sort of savior.

This whole thing with Fauci has been a textbook example of what the ancient Greeks described as "Hubris." An overweening sense of pride and arrogance. The tragic aspect to hubris comes from the double edged sword from which it arises. To be guilty of hubris leaves one open to being mercilessly punished by the Gods.

Fauci has been a highly accomplished bureaucrat and scientist. He's been on top of his profession for 40+ tears. His is not the resume of a hack. He went too far though, let anticipated results justify actions in the present.

He fell prey to the humiliating consequence of hubris. Went way too far, too close to the Sun and, as a result, will be punished without mercy. Shakespearean grade shit going on here.
